Launch Growers Magazine
A New Free Online Video Magazine
MAUI, HAWAII November 1, 2023) – Permaculture Now, Aloha Growers, and Na Mea Pono Productions are excited to announce the launch of their new online platform, Growers Magazine. Growers Magazine is a global media network delivering educational and inspiring stories, conversations, how-to videos, and workshops that motivate individuals to participate in a thriving, abundant, and climate-resilient future. Growers Magazine features diverse solution-oriented programming infused with Mālama Pono, the Hawaiian ways of ‘taking good care’ of ourselves, each other, the land, the water, and all with whom we share this beautiful planet.
Growers Magazine is a bi-monthly video magazine offered free of charge with an email subscription. Growers Magazine curates:
- “In the field” Featured Stories
- Videos from the Growers Garden and Growers Kitchen
- Interviews with cannabis innovators and entrepreneurs in the Growers Cannabis section
- Hosts two podcasts – “Meet the Growers” and “The Climate Reality Show”
- A special musical showcase called Playing for Plants
A Neighborhood Food Master Class series is being offered in-person for Maui residents, January – March 2024. Jenny Pell and many local guests will teach 10 weekends of hands-on workshops, go on 3 field trips, and offer an optional on-site design consultation for each student. The workshop has a limited number of seats available and is offered on a sliding scale between $1500 – $2500 per person. Partial scholarships are available.
